Brandon Drury headed to the Yankees

by Brendan Tuma | Angels Correspondent | Tue, Feb 20th 6:50pm EST

The Arizona Republic's Nick Piecoro reports that the Yankees have acquired second baseman Brandon Drury as part of a three team traded with the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Tampa Bay Rays. (Nick Piecoro on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Arizona is sending Drury to New York, who is sending second base prospect Nick Solak to Tampa Bay. The Diamondbacks are getting Steven Souza from the Rays and there might be some other lower level players involved. Souza hit 30 homers for Tampa Bay last season and is now moving to a better ballpark. As for Drury, he will likely begin the year as the Yankees' starting second baseman. Mega prospect Gleyber Torres could eventually move to third if Drury plays well.
