Mike Moustakas has agreed to a one-year deal with a mutual second-year option with the Royals, according to Jeff Passan. The deal guarantees him $6.5 million and can max out at $22.7 million. (Jeff Passan on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

The long wait is finally over for Moustakas, who couldn't find a deal despite hitting 38 long-balls last season. Moustakas staying in Kansas City actually hurts his fantasy value, as he remains in a pitcher-friendly park but will now be batting in a significantly weaker lineup than last year. Still, he should make a low-end third base option in mixed leagues or a fine corner-infield option.
