Jon Lester lasted only 3 1/3 innings allowing four runs and two strikeouts. He gave up seven hits and walked three. He left with the game tied and took a no-decision in the 8-4 win.
Fantasy Impact:
Lester holds the possibility of being amazing. He has had recent seasons with ERAs in the 2's. He went 19-5 in 2016. He has struck out at least 180 in each of the last four seasons. However, he also had a 4.33 ERA last season with the worst strikeout total of those four seasons with 180. He is trustworthy to be a solid starter in most leagues at the very least as long as he stays healthy.
