Adam Morgan rebounds with scoreless inning in win

The Phillies evened their record to 1-1 following a 5-4 win over the Braves on Friday. The bullpen was solid, allowing just a run in seven innings. Adam Morgan was part of the mix, striking out two in an inning without allowing a base runner.

Morgan threw 14 pitches, nine of them for strikes. After the poor outing in the season opener, Morgan now has an ERA of 10.80, but has struck out three in just 1 2/3 innings.
