Matt Wieters placed on 10-day DL with oblique strain

The Nationals placed Matt Wieters on the 10-day disabled list on Monday with a "mild left oblique strain." The team called up Pedro Severino to take Wieters' place on the roster. (Mark Zuckerman on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Wieters had one hit in seven at-bats on the young season, and he claims that the injury is minor. Oblique injuries are tricky, and it wouldn't be a surprise to see him out of action for longer than the 10-day minimum stay. Expect Miguel Montero to do the bulk of the catching in Wieters' absence.
