Chris Davis picks up hit in loss to Astros

Chris Davis finished 1-for-3 with a walk in Baltimore's 6-1 loss to Houston.
Fantasy Impact:
Well, manager Buck Showalter's experiment batting Davis in the lead-off slot has finally produced a hit. With a .067/.222/.067 line, though, it's clear the real value in having Davis there has been his ability to work walks although that hasn't really translated into much else for the 1-and-3 Orioles. Not noted for his contact rate and likely drafted for his power bat, Davis poses a conundrum for fantasy owners in most season-long formats.
