Justin Verlander allowed four runs (three earned) on six hits and struck out nine over 5 2/3 innings Tuesday night vs. the Orioles.
Fantasy Impact:
The damage came in the form of two home runs off the bats of Adam Jones and Jonathan Schoop. Verlander likely hoped for a better performance in his first home start of the season but the nine strikeouts will keep fantasy owners happy. The Astros ace will take on the Twins next week.
