Matt Wieters (oblique) has taken part in several hitting drills and is optimistic he will come off the DL when the 10 day minimum has passed.
Fantasy Impact:
As expected, it sounds likely that Wieters will come off the DL following the 10 day minimum, as Wieters had said he would've played through the injury had it been later in the season. Wieters should return to the top of the depth chart with either Miguel Montero or Pedro Severino serving as the backup.
