Derek Holland takes loss despite quality start Monday

Derek Holland pitched well on Monday, allowing two runs on two hits and one walk while striking out eight over six innings against the Diamondbacks. It was not enough to win, however, as the Giants fell to the Diamondbacks 2-1 behind a strong performance from Zack Godley.
Fantasy Impact:
After a strong performance, Holland is likely to be a popular waiver-wire pickup ahead of his upcoming matchup with the San Diego Padres. While the veteran left-hander is not going to be someone fantasy owners can rely on for an entire season, if he can continue to post solid numbers every now and then he could turn into a candidate for streaming depending on his matchups.
