Austin Jackson leaves game with tight groin Wednesday

by Mike Maher | Thu, Apr 12th 8:32am EDT

Austin Jackson left last night's game against the Arizona Diamondbacks in the sixth inning with what is being described as a tight groin. The move was considered precautionary, and Jackson is day-to-day. (John Dickinson on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Giants manager Bruce Bochy does not sound concerned about the injury, but expect Jackson to be out at least another day. More importantly for fantasy owners, Jackson is currently stuck in a platoon in the San Francisco outfield and has been hitting the bench against most right-handers. Until he starts playing more consistently, his fantasy value is extremely limited in 2018.
