Gio Gonzalez allowed three runs (two earned) over five innings in a loss to the Rockies on Thursday. He gave up five hits and walked three while striking out seven.
Fantasy Impact:
Gonzalez didn't pitch poorly, but 106 pitches through five innings is far from efficient. He has now walked six batters over his last 10 1/3 innings, which is something to keep an eye on as he looks to go deeper into games. He'll look for better results against the Mets next week.
