Carlos Gomez went 1-for-5 with a single and an RBI in Monday's 8-4 win over the Rangers. Gomez did not strikeout for the second time in four games, and his batting average now sits at .177 with four RBIs on the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Gomez could have had a much bigger day, as he only went 1-for-3 with runners in scoring position. With Monday's RBI being only his fourth of the season, he's not producing enough to overcome the high strikeout rate right now.
