Yangervis Solarte homered for the second consecutive day during the Blue Jays' 15-5 win over the Royals and he finished the game 2-for-3 with a walk and three runs scored.

Solarte smacked a solo home run off of Ian Kennedy during the fourth inning of the Blue Jays' 15 run outburst on Wednesday. Solarte is sporting a rock solid .296 batting average with three long balls on the year. Even when players like Josh Donaldson and Kendrys Morales return, expect the Blue Jays to continue to find ways to get Solarte's switch-hitting power bat into the lineup.
