Brandon McCarthy allowed five hits, one run (earned), and two walks while striking out six over 5 1/3 innings against the Phillies in Atlanta's 7-3 win Wednesday night. With the win, McCarthy improves to 3-0 on the year. He'll face Sal Romano and the Reds next, Monday in Cinncinatti.
