Cody Allen throws ninth inning against Twins Wednesday

Cody Allen came on in the ninth inning to preserve a tie, successfully doing so, despite a somewhat shaky outing. He allowed two hits, but did allow any runs to score. He struck out one, and the Indians lost 2-1 in 16 innings.
Fantasy Impact:
Allen has been tremendous so far in the early going, sporting a 0.88 WHIP, and not allowing a run to cross the plate. He also has eight strikeouts in eight innings pitched. All in all, fantasy owners probably expected more than three save chances so far, but they will take the great ratios regardless. Allen should be ready to go this weekend with Thursday's off day.
