Carlos Santana works another pair of walks in Philly win

Carlos Santana finished 1-for-3 with a run scored and a pair of walks in Philadelphia's 7-0 win over Pittsburgh.

Fantasy Impact:

Santana also struck out in the contest. He's really struggled out of the gate to the tune of a sub-everything .141/.275/.281 tripleslash but has still managed to drive in 10 runs and slug a pair of home runs in the process. Famously patient at the plate and with a discerning eye, the former catcher has already worked 13 walks this season which has made up for his poor contact rate. He possesses good power and is batting in the second slot of a potent, surprising Phillies lineup so he should start traveling north of the Mendoza Line soon.
