Lourdes Gurriel Jr. recalled from Double-A

Lourdes Gurriel Jr. has been recalled from the Blue Jays' Double-A affiliate, the New Hampshire Fisher Cats.
Fantasy Impact:
The younger brother of the Houston Astros' Yuli Gurriel has been called up from the minor leagues. Lourdes is a utility player that has experience playing second, third, short, and left field during his time in pro ball back in Cuba. Gurriel struggled last year but the 24 year old has slashed an impressive 347/.382/.510 in the minor leagues in 2018. It is hard to imagine Gurriel supplanting any of the current Blue Jays' starters but his positional versatility could give him a chance to crack the starting lineup every now and then. Gurriel is nothing but a speculative pick up at the moment but he is someone worth keeping an eye on.
