Michael Kopech is among the most heralded pitching prospects in the minor leagues, with a fastball that easily touches triple-digits. He has been lighting up the radar gun and getting batters out, allowing just 1 run through two starts while striking out 11 hitters.
Fantasy Impact:
The White Sox are clearly not competing this season so there is no rush to call up Kopech, who could use some refinement in regards to his command. When he gets called up he will be worth owning, but until then, leave him on the waivers unless you are in a deep or dynasty league.
