Jake Junis goes eight strong innings for win

by Michael Felner | Brewers Correspondent | Fri, Apr 20th 10:06pm EDT

Jake Junis turned in a strong outing for the second game of a double header Friday. Junis allowed two runs on four hits and struck out four batters. Kansas City split the double header after a walk off homerun by JaCoby Jones sealed the win for the Tigers earlier in the day.

Fantasy Impact:

The Royals have four wins as a team, and Junis has three of them. Junis was efficient; he threw 72 of his 106 pitches for strikes. He carries a sparkling 2.25 ERA and .63 WHIP on the year. The Tigers are by no means an offensive juggernaut, but Junis is establishing himself as one of the few bright spots on a rebuilding team. Grab him off waivers if he's still available.
