Xander Bogaerts (ankle) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Pawtucket on Tuesday, Pete Abraham of The Boston Globe reports. (Pete Abraham on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
This is good news for Bogaert's fantasy owners. The 25-year-old shortstop is scheduled to play on Tuesday and Wednesday in Triple-A and then return to the Red Sox on Friday against the Rays.
