Aledmys Diaz gets the day off Sunday

The Blue Jays' recently acquired shortstop may have started the season on fire, but over the past week he has cooled off considerably, going just 2 for 19. The Blue Jays gave him Sunday off to hit the reset button in hope that he will return to getting on base this week.
Fantasy Impact:
Diaz is by no means a safe bet considering how lousy his numbers were last season. With that being said, he offers power and batting average upside that is uncommon for middle infielders and is worth monitoring for a pickup.
