Kyle Freeland struck out eight batters over seven scoreless innings to earn the win over the San Diego Padres on Tuesday. He allowed three hits and walked two.
Fantasy Impact:
Tuesday was easily Freeland's best start of the season, as he earned his first win and dropped his ERA to 4.33 and WHIP to 1.33. He has walked at least two batters in every start so far this season, however. He will look to keep this momentum going when he takes on the Cubs in Chicago in his next start.
