Trevor Bauer logged 6 and 2/3 innings Wednesday against the Cubs, striking out eight. He scattered four hits and three walks in the contest, allowing just one run in his second win of the year.
Fantasy Impact:
Bauer ran into some trouble in the fifth, but otherwise pitched a great game. He did throw 111 pitches, so monitor his velocity and command over the next couple of starts to see if it has any effect on him. Bauer will bring a 2.41 ERA, 1.10 WHIP, and 35 Ks in 33 and 2/3 innings into his next start at home against the Rangers.
