Sonny Gray continues to struggle in no-decision

by Waleed Hawatky | Cardinals Correspondent | Thu, Apr 26th 12:18pm EDT

Sonny Gray allowed three runs on six hits in 4 2/3 innings while walking five, picking up a no-decision as the Yankees beat the Twins 7-4.

Fantasy Impact:

Gray was greeted by Miguel Sano with a two-run shot in the first inning, setting the tone for the laborious short outing. His control was, again, the issue in this one as he still misses the plate far more than he misses any bats. His five free passes now gives him an astounding 16 in 21 innings and the overall poor performance balloons his ERA to 7.71 and his WHIP to 2.14. He gets the Astros in Houston next.
