Max Scherzer struck out 15 batters over 6 1/3 innings in Sunday's no-decision against the Phillies. He allowed one run on five hits and two walks.
Fantasy Impact:
It marked the fifth time in eight starts that Scherzer has registered 10 or more strikeouts to start the season. He now has 80 Ks in 51 2/3 innings with an ERA and WHIP of 1.74 and 0.85. He's arguably the best pitcher in the game and certainly has returned value in the early going.
