Yonder Alonso went 1-for-3 Friday in a loss to the Royals, hitting a solo bomb off of Jason Hammel. He also walked twice and scored twice in the contest.
Fantasy Impact:
Alonso is starting to heat up, collecting three hits and three runs scored over the past two games. He is only hitting .220, but has nine homers with 17 runs and 22 RBI. Alonso makes for a great option on your bench or in deeper leagues.
