Yonder Alonso pinch hit for Erik Gonzalez in the sixth, then promptly hit two singles. Unfortunately, he did not score or drive in any runs, and the Indians lost to the Tigers 9-8.
Fantasy Impact:
Alonso is middling along, hitting .226/.291/.453 with nine homers. To take the next step, he has to start hitting lefties, as he is only hitting .175 against them this year. Alonso belongs on your bench or the waiver wire for now.
