Brian Dozier finished 1-for-4 with an infield single and a run scored against the Cardinals on Tuesday. The Twins took the first game of a two-game set, 4-1.
Fantasy Impact:
Dozier's early season returns aren't what owners are hoping for, but he is a notoriously slow starter. A .250/.313/.431 slash line is consistent with his career stats for April and May, and he'll inevitably catch fire as the weather warms, especially in a contract year. He makes a great buy-low candidate if there's an impatient owner in your league.
