Howie Kendrick to have season ending surgery

Howie Kendrick was diagnosed with a ruptured Achilles and will undergo surgery Monday, Jorge Castillo of The Washington Post reports. His season is over, per Castillo. (Jorge Castillo on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
This is unfortunate news for Kendrick who was playing every day and hitting well with a .303 batting average and .336 on-base percentage. Fantasy owners can move on from Kendrick now that his season is done.
