Andrew Cashner allowed two runs on eight hits and three walks over five innings in Monday's win over the White Sox. He struck out four and improved his record to 2-5.
Fantasy Impact:
Cashner's outing was far from pretty, but he managed to escape mostly unscathed. Cashner is rarely going to deliver a positive effort in terms of ERA or WHIP, so he is best left on the waiver wire in most leagues. But, to the extent fantasy owners need to rely on him, he will take on the Rays this weekend.
