Sean Doolittle bounces back and picks up second win Tuesday
by Elliott Baas | Tue, May 22nd 11:27pm EDT
Sean Doolittle bounced back from a blown save to strike out the side in a perfect ninth inning Tuesday against the Padres. The game was tied when Doolittle entered, but the Nationals won on a walk-off hit in the bottom of the ninth giving Doolittle his second win. He is now 2-2 on the season with nine saves.
Fantasy Impact:
His blown save was just a hiccup in what has otherwise been a dominant season. There is no reason not to trust Doolittle at this point. He has a 2.18 ERA and 1.77 FIP on the season.
