Justin Smoak reaches base three times on Tuesday

by Matthew Fox | Wed, May 23rd 11:50am EDT

Justin Smoak went 1-for-2 with a single, two base on balls, one run scored, and one strikeout during the Blue Jays' 5-3 win over the Angels.

Fantasy Impact:

The Blue Jays lost four straight to the A's but they were able to get back in the winning column by beating the Angels on Tuesday. The first baseman is slashing .255/.377/.439 to go along with six home runs and 26 RBI on the year. Smoak is not hitting for power like he did during last year's career-best season but he has gotten on base at a higher clip through 43 games. Smoak should be locked in as a starting corner infielder in all fantasy league formats.
