Erick Fedde takes the loss in first start of the season Wednesday

Erick Fedde fell to 0-1 after taking the loss in his first start of the season as the Padres beat the Nationals 3-1. He gave up five hits and three runs while striking out six and walking one.
Fantasy Impact:
Fedde was dealing through the first four innings, racking up all six of his strikeouts while preventing the Padres from scoring. Things started to fall apart in the fifth, and his day was ended by a two-run double off the bat of Christian Villanueva in the sixth. This was just a spot start for Fedde, who will probably head back to the minors soon. The Nationals don't have a spot for him in the rotation unless an injury occurs.
