Brett Gardner collects a pair of hits in Yankees loss

Brett Gardner finished 2-for-5 with a pair of doubles and a run scored as the Yankees fell 12-10 to the Rangers.
Fantasy Impact:
Somehow Gardner managed to lead off the Yankees lineup in a game where they racked up 10 runs on 14 hits, smack a pair of doubles and still come around to score only once. Alas, that's baseball for you. Gardner had a rough April but has bounced back in May hitting a solid .277 though his power is down again as he's only homered once. And thus goes Gardner as he alternates seasons where there's plenty of power one year and then a total drought of it, the next. He does have five steals though.
