Jedd Gyorko went 1-for-4 with a double, a run scored, and a strikeout on Wednesday. The Cardinals fell in extra innings to the Royals after Bud Norris gave up two runs in the 10th inning.
Fantasy Impact:
Gyorko has a respectable .282 AVG with a .374 OBP on the year. However, with increased playing time due to an injury to Paul DeJong, his numbers are trending down toward his .246/.308/.431 career means. Owners would likely be disappointed if they picked him up.
