Felix Hernandez allowed four earned runs on five hits as he was credited the loss against the Athletics on Thursday. He struck out two and walked one over six innings.
Fantasy Impact:
King Felix allowed all four runs in the first inning, before settling in to retire 16 of the final 17 hitters he faced. This outing raised his first inning ERA to an astronomical 12.27. Hernandez has now allowed at least three earned runs in six consecutive starts, which is bad news for fantasy managers.
