Gregory Polanco went 0-for-4 with a walk and a run against the Cardinals as the Pirate’s won Friday night's game.

Fantasy Impact:

Polanco failed to collect a hit on Friday, but he did manage to draw a walk, which allowed him to score a run for the Pirates. He also struck out twice, which has been a problem for Polanco this season. After significantly decreasing his strikeout rate last year, it is back up and above his career average. He is making less contact across the board, inside and outside of the zone. Polanco is also drawing walks at a much higher clip, which will help in on-base percentage leagues, but he’s mostly been a detractor in average this year. His early season power surge is propping up his numbers this season.
