Andrew Miller

Andrew Miller inconsistent once again

by Carmen Maiorano | Sat, May 26th 11:32am EDT

Andrew Miller relieved Corey Kluber in the seventh inning of Friday’s game against the Astros. He escaped the seventh inning jam, but the eighth inning was a different story. George Springer doubled, Alex Bregman walked, and Altuve then doubled them in. The Astros then blew the game wide open after Miller left, winning 11-2.

Fantasy Impact:

Miller has been able to escape a lot of jams this year, but he did not on Friday. His seasonal stats do not look so great - he has a 4.40 ERA and 1.60 WHIP. However, he does have 23 Ks in 14 1/3 innings. He is worth a pick up in any leagues that he has been dropped in, just from the fact that he has been a tremendous ratios helper in the past.
