Mike Fiers allowed four runs on nine hits against the White Sox on Friday. Over 5 2/3 innings, he struck out four, walked three batters, and surrendered a home run to Tim Anderson.
Fantasy Impact:
Detroit's bullpen and offense bailed Fiers out Friday, as he was in line for the loss. That will seldom be the case moving forward. If Fiers can't make it through six innings against the White Sox, he certainly doesn't merit any consideration for fantasy purposes.
