Wil Myers expected to resume baseball activities Tuesday

Wil Myers spoke with reporters in the Padres' locker room during Monday night's game against the Marlins and expressed his hopes to resume baseball activities on Tuesday. Myers was back in San Diego after spending two weeks in Arizona to have his oblique examined by team doctors. (Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union Tribune)

If Myers is cleared for baseball activities, he could then embark on a rehab assignment in the coming weeks. However, it is still believed that Myers will need multiple weeks of rehab before returning to the Padres' lineup.
