Hunter Pence likely to be activated from disabled list Friday

San Francisco Giants manager Bruce Bochy says outfielder Hunter Pence could be activated from the disabled list on Friday, Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle reports. Bochy indicated that Joe Panik, Mark Melancon, and Alen Hanson could all be activated sometime this weekend, as well. (Henry Schulman on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Pence faces an uncertain role with the Giants when he returns, and there was some speculation that the might not even be able to reclaim a roster spot. He played well during his minor league rehab assignment, however, and he now figures to return to the big league club as a depth outfielder.
