Brett Gardner triples in win over Detroit

Brett Gardner finished 1-for-5 with an RBI triple in the first game of a doubleheader in Detroit on Monday. He received the second game off, and the Yankees split the set.

Fantasy Impact:

Gardner isn't hitting for the same power that got him 21 home runs last year, but he's still thriving at the top of a mighty Yankee lineup. He's on pace to finally break 100 runs scored, something the 34-year-old has yet to accomplish in his career. The rest of his stats are right in line with the back of his baseball card.
