Alex Colome almost blows the lead late in Tampa Bay

Alex Colome allowed two earned runs on two hits in the ninth inning against the Rays on Thursday. He hit one batter and struck out one batter.
Fantasy Impact:
Colome inherited a runner on second with no outs in the ninth after replacing Mike Leake. After getting a groundout and a strikeout, Colome hit Carlos Gomez and allowed a single to load the bases. Johnny Field then ripped a double to clear the bases and make it a one run game. After a brief mound visit, he induced a groundout to end the game and seal the Mariners' victory. This was his fifth appearance as a Mariner, and the first in which he has surrendered a run to bring his season ERA up to 4.05 with a 1.31 WHIP.
