Andrelton Simmons starting to participate in baseball activities

Andrelton Simmons (ankle) has started to participate in some baseball activities, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports. Simmons has been able to throw and take some swings, but he hasn't attempted to run just yet. (Jeff Fletcher on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Simmons was placed on the disabled list with a Grade 2 ankle sprain last Wednesday. It looks like the veteran shortstop will need more than the 10 days for recovery. Fantasy owners in deeper leagues will want to keep Simmons stashed.
