Austin Meadows collects two hits in win over the Reds

by Ryan Orndorff | Sun, Jun 17th 12:21am EDT

Austin Meadows went 2-for-4 with a single and a double against the Reds on Saturday.

Fantasy Impact:

Meadows has slowed his roll after a scorching hot streak when he was called up. He hasn’t fallen off completely though and is still hitting .333 with five home runs and three stolen bases in 25 games. His last seven games he has only hit .259 with no home runs, so it looks like he has hit an adjustment period. His future will depend on if he can break out of his slump and show he can hit again for power and average. He is still getting starts in the rotating outfield the Pirates have in place, so he is worth rostering.
