James Shields allowed three runs on six hits with four walks and five strikeouts over six innings Sunday against the Tigers.
Fantasy Impact:
Shields has turned in four quality starts in his last five appearances, but he's 1-4 over that stretch. This figures to continue to be the case given the state of the White Sox, but Shields has been useful for deep-league fantasy owners this year given his consistency. He's not sitting with an ERA and WHIP of 4.63 and 1.26 on the season.
