Kevin Herrera is being traded to the Nationals, per John Heyman. The Royals will receive minor league prospects in return, but not prized Nationals outfielders Soto or Robles. (John Heyman on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Herrera has been fantastic for Kansas City this year, registering 14 saves with a 1.05 ERA and .82 WHIP. This is a tough blow for owners; Herrera will likely move into a set up role for Washington, behind established closer Sean Doolittle.
