Bud Norris pitched a scoreless 9th inning in Monday night's loss to the Phillies. He faced four batters and induced two groundouts and one fly out with one walk.
Fantasy Impact:
He was able to prevent the Phillies from scoring and took the game to extra innings where it looked like the Cardinals may win on a Tommy Pham homerun. Unfortunately, it was all for naught as the Phillies plated two runs in the bottom of the 10th inning. Norris remains a great closing option when the Cardinals are on top. He has 12 saves on the season and will continue to get chances as Greg Holland has struggled mightily.
