Matt Boyd gives up grand slam in Cincinnati
by Michael Felner | Wed, Jun 20th 7:11am EDT
Matt Boyd lasted four innings on Tuesday against the Reds. He allowed five runs on six hits and three walks. He struck out five batters, but a Joey Votto grand slam was the final nail in the coffin.
Fantasy Impact:
This was Boyd's worst start of the year. He'll take a 3.63 ERA into his next start against the Athletics. It's not a horrible match up for the southpaw, but there are likely better fantasy options available as the Tigers are ripe for the picking as the trade deadline approaches.
