Yonder Alonso is back from emergency leave, and went 1-for-4 against the White Sox on Tuesday. He drove in a run, scored a run, and struck out twice in the contest.
Fantasy Impact:
Alonso has only two homers in the past two months, but he is hitting .296. We have seen this before from Alonso, as he had a power outage in the second half of last year. If he could just keep the average while getting his power back, he would make a leap to the next tier. Alonso belongs on your waiver wire or bench for now.
